I really wish I could do the whole sorority thing, but because of last semesters grades it didn't really work out for me. Maybe it's just not my thing :P Just another thing to think about...

I did my speech for my communications course today and I'm pretty sure I did the same speech in Sweden a whole lot better. You'd think a speech about yourself should be simple. Well, it is unless your a nervous speaker like me.

I would rather blog...

Today I have accomplished nothing...academically. I need to finish a speech about myself. I know what to talk about, but how can I make it short and sweet. I want people to Love me afterwards! It shouldnt be to hard :P

Frustration

I have the best friends in the world, but none of them actually go to UTA! After going an entire semester without really meeting anyone that I can really feel close to it gets frustrating... I mean I know people that I can say Hi to when I pass, but who doesn't. I want a friend that I can cry to when im sad, that I can tell story to :P Oh, well...I should be concentrating on school anyways.

I have a speech to give on Tuesday called a Brown-Bag Speech, where I'm supposed to talk about myself and who I am. And I have to figure out who I want to vote for in Texas' new election for governor for my Government class.

Today was my second day of school and it was good. I had pre-cal where there seems to be alot of fun people and my probation course where I shall learn about learning :D It will be good...oh and I bought my books today about 400 bucks!!! NOT COOL!!!!! Next semester i will be ordering online, I Swear!

A Fun Fact! For the next 5 months I will be driving my car a minimum of 2 hours a day 5 days a week! Thats insane!! I love being able to walk on a daily bases in pretty nature, but I can't do that here. And living at home doesnt make it any easier...

Not so Bad

I had a not to bad day today. I have a good feeling about this semester :D Political Science, Speech and History all within four hours on Tuedsay and Thursday... I met some cool people and have some cool teachers, including a govt. teacher who says bullshit and a speech teacher who says pleasurism instead of plagiarism.

And the best party of it all is that I ALREADY have homework!

AWESOME!!

So it begins...

...I now have a second chance to kick butt!

My first semester kind of sucked. I had a blast with new people I met and the classes I took, but in high school I didn't study(not quite sure how I graduated to be honsest) and then I went to Sweden where there was really no need to study. All in all starting college, would be a very difficult task. I've got this down now though do not worry. I'm prepared this time...sort of. I bought all my notebooks tonight and some pretty color pens ;) although i still need to buy my books. Mentally I'm prepared...with ALL of my 6 classes!

Lazy Weekend!

It's my last weekend before school starts, and I've used it to just relax and catch up on silly things. Thursday was spent @ church w/ Allison, Michelle, Amy, Becca and Meredith and the boys. I've missed them alot since I went to Sweden! Yesterday some bad news happened to Allison, so it might be a while before I see her but I spent the night eating dinner with Buddy, Ben, Michelle and the new guy Ryan. I had fun talking about interesting things and some things I wish I never heard...Mostly just gross guy things that women should NOT be a part of. And Today my mom and brother left my dad and I alone for the weekend to just relax. I slept in till around 1 and spent the day watching Jersey Shore, Real World, watching all the latest episodes of Dollhouse, and cooked dinner ;) LOVE IT! A new found passion :D

I Missed It There!

Just got back from Sweden just 4 days ago and am still jetlagged :P I got to spend 3 lovely weeks in Linkoping and 2 beautiful days in Oslo. Since my last post not to much has actually happened, well maybe a little. I spent 5 months studying with some acceptions to college parties and just some casual hanging out. Spent Thanksgiving in Michigan, and spent New Years and Christmas in Sweden :D
